Brunswick location: Our Brunswick location is located off Highway 341 near the exit 36 ramps. We are a standalone building and parking is a first come first serve with handicap parking at the front door.
St. Simons location: Our St. Simons Island location is located in the Winn Dixie shopping plaza between Sweet Mama’s and Chili Peppers. You can find our parking in the front of the building, and we also have two handicap parking spots closest to our doors.
At every visit to ERgent Med, please bring your photo ID and any insurance cards you would like us to file. We have found that a list of medications or surgeries help many people with your paperwork.
As we are a walk-in clinic, there is no need to schedule your appointment in advance! If you would like to complete your forms ahead of time, you can download and print them from our website and bring them with you to make the check in step faster.
When you arrive, our front desk team greets you, helps you check in, and verifies your insurance.
Next, a MA (medical assistant), RMA (registered medical assistance), or AEMT (advanced emergency medical technician) will check your vitals.
Finally, our PA-Cs (certified physician assistants) and FNPs (family nurse practitioners) will provide your care.
All copays are due at the time of service. If you have not met your insurance deductible for the year, you will be required to pay $100 toward the deductible for the visit upon checking in.
If you are a self-pay patient, the entire balance of the visit is due at the time of service.
ERgent Med files with most medical insurances, but it is the patient’s responsibility to verify with their insurance if we are in or out of network with their specific plan.
